Publication Rules
 Family members may purchase subscriptions for newspapers and magazines for you,
provided the newspaper or magazine is mailed directly from the publisher.
**Note: all magazine subscriptions are mailed directly from the publisher**
Any publication defined as any book, booklet, pamphlet, magazine, periodical,
newsletter, newspaper, subscribed catalog or similar material published by any
individual, organization, company, or corporation that is distributed or made
available through any means for a commercial purpose may be allowed if they are
approved through the property office. No used or previously read material will be
accepted. Reading materials that have not been approved by the property officer
are contraband and will be sent out of the institution at inmates expense, or if inmate is
not willing to pay the mailing costs, the contraband is subject to destruction or
disposal by the institution.
 
 

Address Regulations:

All incoming mail must have a full and legitimate return address, including the full
name of the person writing the letter, address, city, state and zip code.
